Copyright in all photographs produced by MMP studio remains with the photographer (Michelle McFarlane) at all times. Commissioning a shoot includes a licence to use the delivered images.

Licence granted: A non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the images for the purposes described in the brief, quote, or invoice.

Permitted uses:

• Website and digital channels

• Print and digital communications materials

• Internal use — presentations, reports, and staff communications

• PR and editorial — media releases and editorial placements

• Sub-licensing to nominated third parties

Restrictions:

• Images may not be sold to any other party

• Images may not be used in contexts that misrepresent the subject

Credit: Where practical, a credit to michellemcfarlane.com is appreciated but not required.

For shoots involving identifiable individuals, MMP studio assumes that the client has obtained (or will obtain) any necessary model or talent releases, particularly where images will be used in advertising or public-facing contexts.

In healthcare and institutional settings, clients are responsible for ensuring compliance with patient privacy obligations, staff consent requirements, and any applicable organisational policies.

Standard release templates are available on request.

MMP studio may use images in its own portfolio and promotional materials unless the shoot involves sensitive subjects or is otherwise requested.
