A unique perspective

Kerrie (ship4good) erects the hand-made sail designed especially for the projection

Artist in residence

Victor Holder worked in his on-board studio to create an animation depicting the ships history and founder Paul Watson. The crowd took a tour of his work on exhibition.

The best part was seeing the projectors working through the eyes of the skull. How brilliant was that!

Photographing projections at night is always challenging, especially with the threat of a storm! I wanted a point of view with Newcastle at night as the backdrop behind the projection so I got myself a position right up the top of the ship where I could look down on the sail.
