Photographing Pharmacists at work in the Alfred Hospital

Nikki dispenses some medication in a capsule that shoots up in to the hospital

Today I was zipping around the Alfred Hospital to capture the multidisciplinary approach that Pharmacist take in everyday work at the hospital. I photographed them working alongside fellow healthcare professionals like doctors and nurses in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, in and out patient Dispensary, Drug room, Ward rounds, Aseptics, Clinical Trials and last but not least the actual Pharmacy department that lives underneath the hospital.

I learned that they make and prepare Chemo as well as the nutritents made for IV and documented the process for their educational resources.

Working with the staff at the Alfred is always blows my mind and I am ever grateful for their professionalism and accommodating attitude.
